Go- The sound edit

Above is the film GO that I had to edit sound for;
 For this task we were given a choice of six clips to place a soundtrack on using Avid. When I chose Go the footage was completely wiped of sound and we didn't even have a back story to go by. I recorded sounds such as footsteps, voices etc. However, I used freesound.org for most of my sounds. When editing sound together I found it easy and enjoyable. I chose The Beatles Song because I felt it fitted the atmosphere for the dance routine perfectly.
 I struggled to find a sound that fit small boxes hitting the floor. My teacher pointed this out that she liked that I covered every little sound as without these sounds the audience would notice and it would make you jump out of the film. I finally found the sound by using the sound of jumping in the snow. it worked really well.
 The only thing I would change next time is the footsteps and the heartbeat as the sound levels were wrong when it was played through the speakers. I would also place sounds of the actors rolling and throwing the food during the dance scene.
