I am king.

  I took this photo at Dublin zoo. As the tiger walked towards te glass I felt this was a perfect opportunity to capture the power and pride of the tiger. Although if I were to get the opportunity to shoot it again I would have tried to get the legs within the frame.

The Voices In My head

Above Is my Self Portrait- The Voices In My Head;
 This was something very close to my heart. It represents the struggle I have with myself every day. If I could change one thing about this production It would be to find someone else to act in it as I feel the overall production would have a better representation of my thoughts and fears if an aspiring or professional actress performed in it.
 When I edited the piece I found it hard as I didn't like watching myself on screen and re living my thoughts. I also found it hard to create and edit the sound within it because I didn't want the music and the sounds to dampen the story. I also upon watching the footage back in the edit suite that there is major continuity with my hair jumping from being tucked behind my ear to on my face.
 The camera used was a DSLR. which Annie Sutton operated during the shoot. I also had Mary to help with setting things up and helping Annie. I used Avid to edit the footage and sound. When reviewing the footage people said it was good they liked the story and that I gave it a name rather than just Self Portrait. They liked that it was mainly black and white and how I edited it to fade it to colour towards the end.

The Voices In My Head script sample

 This is the script for my short- The Voices In My Head. This story represents my life. The way my brain continually taunts me with negativity and hurtful words. How everyday I struggle to create a happy environment for myself to feel like I can go on another day. Although this story is about me I feel it could represent anyone who feels less worthy than what they are. And I feel maybe it could inspire someone to listen for the positive voices and fight through the bad because they are all worth more.

Favourite film or television ending

The best ending to a television show or film for me has to be Friends. The group are stood in the no empty apartment of Monica and Chandlers. As they have been many a time during the shows progression. They are all reminiscing on the times they had there. And how at one point each person of the group had lived there. They then leave their keys for the super and go to leave, Rachel asks "(crying) Do you guys have to go to the new house right away, or do you have some time?"Monica: We got some time.
Rachel: Okay, should we get some coffee?
Chandler: Sure. Where?" Ending the show with a joke that regular viewers would only understand. To me it made me feel connected to the show and I felt like the show ended on an all time high. It has been ten years since the final episode was first aired and although it is no longer on our TV screens there have been many rumours of a film. However, although very sad I feel a film or another series could potentially ruin the great ending which Friends already had.
