The beast is about a girl running away from something you don't know what you don't know why all you know is she is scared, scared that this thing is going to catch her. Although this is a horror I feel it has an emotional side to it with the different representations of the connection between the two characters. That being;
The woman being haunted by her childhood
The woman scared about her future with children etc. Bottom right is an extract from the short:
Since starting University my script writing skills have developed dramatically. I can describe a scene, character, and movement with the shortest yet most detailed sentences. whilst at university I have used the book Film Art: an introduction to help with my studies. The section about screen writing has helped me immensely.
As you can see from the image to the right every page of that section of my copy is filled with post it notes and scribbles all over from me questioning parts to developing more of an understanding of how to write a great screen play. As the route of writing is something I am seriously considering going down I feel that the further my development goes the easier and better my writing shall become.
